Xu Ying, a 2018 postgraduate student of Japanese Language and Literature, participated in the 5th “Aeon Cup” Japanese Speech Contest and won the top “Aeon Prize” under the guidance of his foreign teacher, Matsunaga Genjiro, and her tutor, associate professor Li Xiaobo. And she was invited to Japan from July 28 to August 2, 2019 to study and exchange with the winners of the top prize from six universities including Peking University, Tsinghua University and others for a week.
During her study in Japan, Xu Ying actively got involved in the activities organized by the sponsor and performed excellently. Moreover, she was awarded the “Thank-You Award” by the Aeon Club Foundation, winning the honor for our university.
Thanks to the instructor and congratulations to Xu Ying! To get such an honor shows the strength of our master of Japanese Language and Literature. Hope that our postgraduate students will work harder and reach new heights.
