The College of International Studies recently held an immersive campus experience camp for students admitted under its 2025 early admission scheme for foreign language specialties. 
The event, which took place on February 21, brought together 17 prospective students and their families for a day of activities designed to showcase the university's academic environment and the college's distinctive programs.

Dean Dai Yonghong welcomed attendees at the opening ceremony, highlighting the university's deep roots in Shenzhen and its international, innovative characteristics. He outlined the college's mission to cultivate globally competent talents with top-tier faculty and advanced resources.

Zhu Lingyan, Director of the Admissions Office, emphasized the university's reform-oriented spirit and its track record of nurturing influential alumni. She also pointed to the advantages of its location, which facilitates strong industry connections and ample practical opportunities for students.

Presentations were given on the Japanese, Spanish, French, and German undergraduate programs, detailing their strengths, unique positioning, and international focus. 
Attendees also experienced a demonstration on interpretation techniques by Dr. Shang Xiaoqi and visited a virtual simulation language lab.

The itinerary further included tours of the university's history museum, sports facilities, and innovation center. The day concluded with an informal picnic, allowing for direct interaction between college leadership, the prospective students, and their parents.
