The College of International Studies hosted its "Shenwan Intelligence, Expanding Horizons" summer school, bringing together outstanding students from universities across China for an immersive academic program focused on interdisciplinary studies combining foreign languages with regional and international studies.

Dean Dai Yonghong opened the ceremony by outlining the college's innovative educational model integrating language proficiency, cultural understanding, and regional expertise. 

Vice Dean Zhang Danyang detailed the college's robust graduate programs, highlighting its strong faculty, research achievements, and international exchange opportunities.

The academic core featured a lecture series where faculty members presented their research. Associate Professor Xin Guangqin addressed humanities education in the AI era, while Professor Dai Yonghong discussed cultivating interdisciplinary talent. 
Associate Professor Li Xiaobo analyzed Japanese learners' transformative experiences, and Associate Professor Huang Leping explored Spanish language and Latin American studies. 
Dr. Xie Hao examined French cultural studies, and Associate Professor Shang Xiaoqi discussed training high-caliber interpreters for the AI age. Dr. Yang Jingwen presented on neurolinguistics and language services.

Participants toured the Yuehai campus and attended discipline-specific sessions for direct interaction with faculty and current graduate students.
Vice Dean Zhang Danyang presided over the closing ceremony, where program directors and faculty members presented completion certificates to all participants. The summer school provided prospective students with comprehensive exposure to the college's academic environment and research strengths.
