She obtained her Ph.D. from University College London. Her expertise covers word learning, pragmatic development, psycholinguistics, and experimental pragmatics. Dr. Zheng has published over 10 academic articles with prestigious international and Chinese journals such as Journal of memory and language, Journal of Child language, Lingua, and one English monograph. She is in charge of one high-profile research project granted by the National Social Sciences Foundation, alongside one research project granted by Shenzhen University. She has been teaching obligatory courses for undergraduate and graduate levels: Introduction to Psycholinguistics, English Reading, English listening.
