She graduated from the English Department of Shanghai International Studies University, she has been teaching English in SZU since 1996. She was a visiting scholar at Carnegie Mellon University and Memphis University in the U.S., and participated in a short-term exchange program at Brunel University in the UK. Her research field is applied linguistics and language teaching, and has published academic articles with renowned academic journals such as Foreign Language World, China University Teaching, etc. The major academic articles include A Comparative Study of the teacher-student orientational relationship in Foreign Languages Departments in Chinese and American Universities, The Reform of the Course of Selective Readings in English Newspapers and Magazines from the Perspective of RICH, A Comparative Study of Evaluation of Learning under Behaviorism and Constructivism Theories, etc. She translated the sixth and seventh editions of News Writing and Reporting for Today’s Media published by China Renmin University Press. She is in charge of the minor program --International News and Foreign Affairs English, and a number of research projects both at the provincial and university level. She was awarded the 2nd prize of the Fourth Excellent Teaching Achievements of Shenzhen University as a team member, Excellent Online Teaching (College or Major Category) of Guangdong Universities, and the 1st prize in the Teaching Contest of Young Teachers in SFL at SZU, and was conferred on the title of Outstanding Teacher of Shenzhen, Outstanding CPC Member of Shenzhen Education Bureau, Tencent Outstanding Teacher of Shenzhen University, and Excellent Supervisor of the "21st Century Cup" National English Speech Contest for a number of times.
