He graduated from the Advanced Translation School of Shanghai International Studies University, and obtained a doctorate degree in translation (interpretation research). He has rich practical experience in consecutive interpretation and simultaneous interpretation. The main research fields are: interpretation theory, conference interpretation (consecutive interpretation, simultaneous interpretation) theory and teaching. He also published a monograph on interpretation theory, compiled (deputy editor) an essay collection of the International Conference on Interpretation, and published nearly 20 research articles on interpretation theory in domestic and foreign academic journals, most of which were published in CSSCI journals and core foreign language journals.
