He received his Bachelor of Arts (1993) and Master of Arts (1996) at Central China Normal University, PhD (2007) at Hong Kong Baptist University. Professor of School of Foreign Languages, Shenzhen University (2008).

He published more than 30 academic papers in "Chinese Translation", "Eastern Translation", "Translation Quarterly", "World Religious Studies", "Confucius Studies", "Journal of the Institute of Chinese Culture", "Foreign Language Studies", "Journal of PLA University of Foreign Languages" and an English monograph.
Courses taught: Comprehensive English (4), modern English prose, classics and translation.
