In March 1997, she graduated from Jilin University with a master's degree and stayed there as a teacher.
August 2001-August 2002, visiting scholar to Leiden University in the Netherlands
From March 2002 to January 2007, she was a PhD student at Leiden University in the Netherlands and received her doctorate.
From August 2014 to August 2015, visiting scholar to Leiden University in the Netherlands, researcher of the Phonetics Research Center
May 2007- now, teaching in the English Department of the School of Foreign Languages, Shenzhen University
She is also a member of International Phonetic Society, member of European Phonetic Society, member of Dutch Linguistic Society, member of Chinese Phonetic Society, Standing Director of China Phonetic Teaching Research Association. Her main research directions: Applied Linguistics, Experimental Linguistics and Experimental Phonetics.
