Dr. Han Kunmei got her Ph.D in Linguistics from the National University of Singapore; B.A. in Literature from the Chinese University of Hong Kong; member of the Linguistic Society of America (LSA). Since September 2024, she has been teaching in the Department of English, School of Foreign Languages, Shenzhen University, offering courses such as Interpreting, Translation, Comprehensive English, Introduction to Translation (MTI), and Business Communication.
Dr. Han’s research interests include corpus linguistics and aging-related language studies. She received the Best Abstract Award at the 2025 LSA Annual Meeting. Her research has been published in leading journals such as Alzheimer’s & Dementia and World Englishes, and she has presented at prestigious international conferences including the 2024 AAAI Spring Symposium and the Max-Planck Institute Conference on Psycholinguistics.
