She received her Ph.D in literature studies, Osaka University, Japan. She joined Shenzhen University in 2005. She was promoted to associate professor in 2010, and now she is the director of master's program of Japanese. From 1999 to 2004, she obtained master's degree and doctor's degree in literature research department of Osaka University in Japan. She was a visiting researcher in the literature research department of Osaka University. Since 2005, she has been teaching in Japanese Department of School of foreign languages, Shenzhen University. Her research fields are Japanese pedagogy and foreign language teacher education and development. She published one monograph "a class with a heart flowing: a narrative inquiry into the professional knowledge of foreign language teachers" ( by FLTRP in 2011), and several papers in core journals such as Foreign Languages in China, Foreign Language Studies, and the Study of Japanese in Osaka. Some selected papers are: "facts, values and evaluation criteria of narrative inquiry" (2010), "narrative inquiry in teacher research" (2009), "authority in the classroom: Narrative Research on Japanese teachers' personal practical knowledge" (2008), 《ざわざわとする教室の背後の専門的意味――ナラティブ探求から探る》(2006), 《日本語教師の専門知についてのナラティブ的理解》(2004). She presided over a research start-up fund for overseas returned students from the Ministry of education, a school level social science project and a school level teaching reform project.
