In January 2003, she graduated from the University of Bristol, England, with a master's degree in education, teaching English; in November 2017, she graduated from the Chinese University of Hong Kong with a master's degree in philosophy. Since 2003, she has been a teacher in the College English Teaching Department of the School of Foreign Languages at Shenzhen University.
