From September 1995 to July 2002, she studied at the School of Foreign Languages of Sun Yat-sen University, joined Shenzhen University in 2002, and has worked so far. During the period, she visited various universities in the UK several times: in 2007, she visited Brunel University in the UK; in 2010, the University of Lancashire in the UK; in 2015, the Queen's University in the UK; in 2018, the Open University of the UK. In 2019, studying for a PhD degree in the Open University of the United Kingdom.
