Her main research fields are ecolinguistics, cognitive linguistics and contrastive linguistics, including the study of metaphors in literary texts, the cognition of vocabulary and ecological studies. She hosted or completed the annual project of the "Twelfth Five-Year Plan" of Educational Science of Guangdong Province, the Youth Project of the Humanities and Social Sciences Fund of the Ministry of Education, and the Youth Project of the National Philosophy and Social Science Fund. She published several papers in A&HCI and CSSCI source journals such as "Foreign Language Teaching", "Foreign Literature Research", "Ideological Front", etc.
