From 1996 to 1999, she studied at Hunan Normal University and obtained a master's degree in English Language and Literature. In August of the same year, she came to Shenzhen University Normal College to engage in international comparative education research and English training. From 2001 to 2002, she studied at ESSEX University in the UK and obtained a master's degree in English language teaching. Now she works for the College English Department of the School of Foreign Languages. She was promoted to lecturer in 2003 and to associate professor of English language and literature in 2007. She has published nearly ten academic papers.
