She graduated from Xi'an University of Foreign Studies with a B.A degree in International Trade, and received a master degree in French English Chinese Trilingual Science and Technology Translation (DESS), another master degree of Cultural Studies (DEA) and a Doctor degree in Cultural Studies from Université Paul-Valéry Montpellier 3.
