Dr. Li Jingcheng received his Ph.D. in Political Science from St. Petersburg State University / St. Petersburg Polytechnic University, and subsequently completed a post-doctoral fellowship in Journalism and Communication at Shenzhen University. Presently, he serves as an Assistant Professor, Distinguished Associate Fellow and MA Supervisor at the College of International Studies of Shenzhen University. Dr. Li is also the Programme Director of Russian and Central Asian Studies at the Institute of Area Studies and International Communication of Shenzhen University - the Key research base of humanities and social sciences in higher education institutions in Guangdong Province. Previously, he worked at the Higher School of International Relations of St. Petersburg Polytechnic University. Dr. Li is the author of more than 30 academic articles and 2 monographs. He serves as the lead researcher of several grants, including the Youth Project of the National Social Science Fund of China and the Youth Development Research Project of the Central Committee of the Communist Youth League. Additionally, he has taken part in various grants, including the Major Projects of the National Social Science Fund of China. He teaches courses on the Belt and Road Initiative and Area Studies, BRICS and Community of Shared Future for Mankind, Theory and Method of Area Studies, Geopolitics and Chinese Diplomacy, International Organizations and International Law.
