Profile
Le Yang is an Assistant Professor at the College of International Studies, Shenzhen University. She obtained her Ph.D. in Journalism and Communication from Tsinghua University, and was a Visiting Scholar at the Internet Governance Project, Georgia Institute of Technology, USA. With an interdisciplinary academic background spanning management, international relations, and communication studies, her research focuses on global governance of cyberspace, platform content governance, and digital geopolitics. Her academic work has been published in both Chinese and international journals, including Policy & Internet, International Economic Review(Chinese Journal), Media Observer(Chinese Journal), Future Communication(Chinese Journal), and Journal of Digital Communication(Chinese Journal). She joined Shenzhen University in Fall 2025, where she engages in teaching and research related to area studies and digital geopolitics.
