The 30th Anniversary, Shenzhen University Always Stands by You
On May 18, 2013, the appointment ceremony of the Alumni Association of the School of Foreign Languages, Shenzhen University, and the founding ceremony of its secretariat, was held in the conference room of Shenzhen Genesis Property Limited Company with the theme of "The 30th Anniversary, Shenzhen University Always Stands by You". Mr. Yu Qingfeng was appointed the secretary-general of the secretariat. Attending the ceremony, besides Yu Qingfeng, were Yue Junqi, a staff member of the secretariat, Ms. Zhou Wei, the general manager of Genesis Property Limited Company and the Alumni Association president of the School of Foreign Languages, Jiang Yonghong, the current secretary-general of the Alumni Association, Zheng Lili and Huang Liyun, vice presidents, along with the deputy secretary of the Party Committee of the School of Foreign Languages of Shenzhen University Wang Qin.

At the meeting, President Zhou officially appointed Yu Qingfeng as the new secretary-general of the Alumni Association of the School of Foreign Languages of Shenzhen University and presented a letter of appointment.

President Zhou said that the appointment ceremony is like a rehearsal, and the Alumni Association needs a more standardized operation. She advocated the idea of "the plan should be perfect, the work should be rigorous, the process should be standardized, and the attitude should be indomitable". At the same time, she hoped that participants can hold varied activities using Shenzhen University as their base camp, inspire more alumni with enthusiasm and sincerity, regain schoolmates' affection, and be grateful to the alma mater.

For the development of the Alumni Association in the future, everybody contributed ideas and gave opinions actively, and jointly drew up a beautiful blueprint. The atmosphere was very active. Secretary Wang also made a brief introduction to the work plan of the 30th Anniversary Alumni Association of Shenzhen University. In order to contact alumni easily, it was decided that the office of the Secretariat of the Alumni Association of the School of foreign languages was to be located in room 2224 of Huiwen Building, and its telephone number is 26534887.
Mr. Yu Qingfeng gave full affirmation to the establishment of the Alumni Association Secretariat and its norms, and put forward the proposal of establishing the Council. Finally, the participants filmed the blessing video of the 30th anniversary celebration of the alma mater to express their gratitude to the alma mater. The appointment ceremony was successfully concluded in a pleasant atmosphere.
