1. Introduction The Middlebury Institute of International Studies at Monterey, a school of the President & Fellows of Middlebury College, has expertise in designing and offering executive education programs in language and intercultural communications.	1. 导言明德大学蒙特雷国际研究学院（Middlebury Institute of International Studies at Monterey）是明德大学（Middlebury College）董事会管理下的一个学院，专长于设计并提供语言和跨文化交流教育培训课程。
2. Program Content The preliminary design is a 7-week customized language program for a group of 14 participants to engage in instruction related to translation and English enhancement skills. The primary areas of focus will include: Translation Courses (14 hours per week) Consecutive Interpretation into Chinese Consecutive Interpretation into English Written Translation into Chinese Written Translation into English Sight Translation (Bi-directional) Simultaneous Interpretation into Chinese Simultaneous Interpretation into English English Enhancement Courses (4 hours per week) Public Speaking & Presentation Skills Listening Comprehension The Program shall provide a Certificate of Accomplishment, reflecting that the Program is not a credit-bearing course, nor a degree program.	2. 项目内容根据初步设计，定制语言培训项目为期7周，参加者14人，培训内容为翻译及英语强化技能。主要内容包括：翻译课程（每周14小时）交传英译汉交传汉译英笔译英译汉笔译汉译英视译（双向）同传英译汉同传汉译英英语强化课程（每周4小时）公共演讲技能听力理解项目结束时应颁发结业证书，该证书注明该项目并不是学分课程，也不授予学位。
